  1. Click an Account Tile and drag to the bottom right-hand corner of the page
  2. Release the Account Tile over the (+) icon
  3. A new group will be created at the bottom of your page
  4. You can name this account anything
NICKNAMING ACCOUNTS
Take organization one step further with account nicknames. Never mix up your accounts again!

  1. Click the ellipsis (vertical three dots) icon in the top right-hand corner of an Account Tile
  2. Select "Nickname Account"
  3. Enter your preferred nickname
  4. Click the checkmark to save your new Account Nickname

Note: Account nicknames are native to your own digital banking profile. This means that you can set up account nicknames in your profile, and your spouse can set up their own nicknames in their customer profile - no need to compromise on the nicknames.
Link Accounts Held at Other Financial Institutions

UBU's new digital banking platform provides a 360-degree view of your finances when utilizing account linking. This feature gives customers the ability to link accounts held at other financial institutions (banks, credit unions, credit card companies, etc) for "view only" purposes. Linked accounts provide information including up-to-date balances, transaction history, credit limits, next payment dates, and more!

A Few Important Takeaways of Linked Accounts:
  • account linking is for view-only purposes; this means you cannot conduct any monetary transactions with these accounts in this module
  • accounts can be linked from institutions where you have online banking credentials; these credentials provide the connection link
  • there may be a delay between information reflected for an account in your UBU profile, and the actual account's details. Always check with the other financial institution directly for the most accurate information
  • United Bank of Union is not responsible for, nor manages, information provided or displayed from external financial institutions

Interested in taking your financial tools one  step further?  Check out External Transfer option. Transfer funds between accounts held at UBU and external banking institutions with a few clicks of your mouse. For more information, check out our  External Account Setup Page.
TorchPay - Send Money Instantly to Friends and Family

Money Management > TorchPay

Send funds to friends and family with the new, FREE TorchPay feature! Using a UBU debit card, you can send money instantaneously to any individual - recipients do not have to be a United Bank of Union customer. Funds are sent to other individuals by entering their email address or mobile phone number. Recipients will get an email or text notifying them of available funds, and they are able to deposit using their own debit card information or bank account information.

To request access to the TorchPay feature, contact an Account Services Representative today!

Note: Individuals receiving funds are prompted to use a debit card to "cash out" funds. However, depending on the individual's financial institution, they may be prompted to use their bank account information (routing # and account #) instead. Debit card cash outs are instantaneous while bank account deposits may take 1-3 days for processing.
CardSwap - A Subscription Management Service

Services > CardSwap

CardSwap allows you to manage your online subscriptions all in one place, using your UBU debit cards. Choose from a variety of providers to streamline your payments from your UBU debit card. After linking to various providers, CardSwap will take your UBU debit card information, encrypt this data, and contact each company (such as Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix) to add your UBU debit card as the payment source. This means if you lose your debit card or if it expires, you can go into CardSwap, enter your new debit card information, and CardSwap handles the rest. Your linked providers will all receive your new debit card information for payment purposes!

To Get Started:

  1. Open the CardSwap module
  2. Click the (+) at the top of your screen to add your UBU debit card information
  3. Select the Link Account box at the bottom of your screen
  4. Select a provider in which you want to set up your UBU debit card as the payment source
  5. Enter your account credentials for that provider
  6. Success! Your account is now linked.

Popular Subscription Services Included with CardSwap:

  • Amazon
  • Hulu
  • Netflix
  • Spotify
  • iTunes
  • Target
  • Walmart
This service offers a "Swap Card" feature that allows you to replace an existing UBU debit card associated with CardSwap with a new card! This is helpful when you lose a UBU debit card and close it, or when a debit card expires, you can update your subscriptions with your new debit card information.
 Apple Watch Integration

Settings > AppleWatch

The new UBU Digital Banking system offers AppleWatch integration! To utilize this feature, users will need to use their mobile app to enable the AppleWatch connection. The AppleWatch integration gives users a quick view of their account balances with the ability to view recent transactions as well.

If you link external accounts from other institutions using our Link Accounts feature, these will also appear on your iOS watch app.

Note: At this time, Apple is the only company offering a smart watch app integration with our digital banking system. We hope to see Samsung, FitBit, Garmin, and others offer this capability one day in the future, but at this time there is no compatible integration capability.
Securely Message with UBU Customer Contact Specialists

Customers can securely communicate with UBU employees via encrypted messages online. Select the Messages tab to contact us for account questions, digital banking assistance, debit card concerns, and more!
